Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Defense Power Supply, will demonstrate its R&D capabilities by launching and demonstrating new Aero India 2021 products and technologies.
The company has products and systems covering every area of its business and are grouped as aerospace application, satellite and space application, products and systems for self-dependence (Aatmanirbhar Bharat), high-performance computer systems and artificial intelligence systems, terrestrial and marine products and systems, communication and laser products, defense / diversification products and external displays.

According to the company, some of the new products and technologies that are being shown in aerospace and satellite applications include a self-defense kit with DIRCM (with foreign ToT), a manual field signal generator, an airborne and terrestrial modem spread spectrum , backpack anti-drone system, BE NAVIC 705, compact time reference server (in the air), based on VPX SDR architecture for onboard platforms and air sonar.
A total of about 30 products and systems developed as part of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative will be on display, including rocket electronics, receivers for EW systems and many more such as 2KW fuel cell, FO gyro-based sensor unit, laser transmitter, IR jammer, call manager and a multimedia gateway, a C-Band Tropo power amplifier and IR search missiles.
Other innovative artificial intelligence solutions and systems on display in high-performance computing and artificial intelligence systems will include RRO (software-based solution), secure video conferencing solution, common network system, defense imaging solution and civilian applications, automatic DMRC train surveillance system and marine rescue coordination center, among others.
BEL will also present its land and marine products and systems, including QRSAM radars (BFMR and BSR), BFSR-XR AESA, DDR (FMCW), shore monitoring system, GBMES, single combat vehicle (QRSAM) and control system of weapons, among others.
BEL will also showcase communication and laser-based products, including MODEM for Troposcatter communication system, cryptometers, frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar for fog systems and protection systems for unmanned aerial vehicles for railways, 4G security telephone and 5G tablet computer, powerful fiber laser, high-speed Li Fi communication system and software-defined radio under the communication and electro-optical segments.
In addition, products for non-applications such as fans and dialysis machines, intelligent city platforms with IoT components, etc. will be presented. The focus of BEL’s external display will be based on the Mini C4I, Atulya (ADFCR), CTFCR (X-APAR at 4 x 4), WLR (mountain version) and anti-drone system. The entire set of modern equipment on offer will be a force multiplier for each defense force.
