Rohde & Schwarz says it has delivered mobile air traffic control (ATC) communication equipment to a customer in the UAE. Each tower consists of a cabin equipped with brackets, all mounted on a lifting system fixed on a trailer that can be transported by a C17 transport aircraft. Each cab can hold three controller positions equipped with R&S Series 4200 software-defined radios, Certium VCS voice communication system, Certium control and Certium gateways.
